Fun Week

So we had a good week this week. My stress level was a little high because my child does not like to listen, but we are working though it. We took the girls to the football game Friday night, took Olivia to get her ears pierced on Saturday. And....found our new house we will be moving into on December 20th :) YEAH!!!!

before after She did really good. Cried a little after it was over, but all in all did really good. She would always ask to get her ears pierced when she saw Jadyn and Emmie with theirs done. Now she is a little princess like the other girls. Soooo cute!!!

Our house....

It is really nice. It is a 3 bed + office 3 bath, tile throughout, 2 master closets, granite countertops in the kitchen, 3 car garage, 2200 sq feet. I am extremely excited. We are moving in on December 20th, plenty of time to get all set up for our new little buddle of joy :)

Halloween

We had a great Halloween last night. We went to Trunk or Treat in the morning so the girls could have a chance to wear their costumes for a little longer, then we went to see Granny. Granny loves to see the girls every year in their costumes. She always makes sure to have candy for them. Then in the evening we went trick or treating in Gigi and Papa's neighborhood. It was soo much fun watching all the girls (including Emmie) go to all the doors. Emerson was soooo funny. She did really good going up to all the doors and putting her little pumpkin bucket up there for the candy. The funniest part about it was on the way home she was really tired and wanted someone to carry her, but she would not let some carry her pumpkin. She knew her candy was in it and REFUSED to let it go. She is so smart. All in all it was a great night and I just cant wait until next year when Paislie will be there with the rest of the girls getting her candy :)

Baby Belly

So I am officially in my 3rd trimester. :) Yeah. I went to the Dr. on the 29th and he told me I gained 11 pounds in the last 5 weeks. Did not really want to hear that, but everything is going good and most importantly Paislie is really healthy and has no problems. She is very active and the dr thinks she probably weighs around 2.3 pounds right now. I took this new picture on November 1. I am 28 weeks and just for fun I thought I would put a picture up of Erica when she had Emmie in her tummy. Not that it matters but I think it is cute. Love ya Auntie

This last week

This last week has been an eventful one. Last Saturday we went to the fair. Jadyn is getting to the age where she very much has an opinion on what she wants to do and see at the fair. She was not happy when everyone wanted to eat first. She wanted to see the "faaam animals" She had to see all the different kinds and touch them all. She was a little disappointed that the horses were not there yet. But was very excited at the end of the night to ride one. Emmie did soooo good riding the horses too. We have yet to find something that little girls is scared to do. She is so much fun, just like Jadyn.

Jadyn got a little rowdy while we were trying to finish up eating, so Papa Pat thought he would take her for a walk. Well....being the Papa Pat that he is, look at what Jadyn came back with

Yeah It was lots of fun to push the stroller around while Jadyn's little friend walked next to it. Papa Pat pushed alot of the time. He liked it though because he could lean on the stroller a little bit and take the pressure off his bad leg :)

I dont think much needs to be said about what Papa and Emmie's favorite part of the fair was. Emerson is a girl after her Papa's heart. They both LOVE to eat!!! I think Papa loves to have a little mouth to feed all the goodies though.

For the rest of the week I was running around trying to get everything ready for the next Saturday, Jadyn's 3rd birthday party. My friend Jessie Norton made Jadyns Barbie cake and it was soooo good. Everyone really loved the way it look and best of all how good it taste. She did a wonderful job and I can't thank her enough. She is going to start making cakes on the side, so if you are interested let me know and I will put you in touch with her. She is just starting out but is really determined and does a great job.

Thank you to everyone who came to the party too. They are the ones that made the day soooo special for her. She thinks that she is in Barbie heaven right now. I have to give her one a day because she like to take all her new toys with her everywhere she goes and I just dont have enough room in my purse for all of it. She had a great day though.

Yeah the week was not over after Jadyn's birthday party. The next day, Sunday, we went to Prinesses on Ice! Auntie got us tickets to her work's suite. We did not tell Jadyn that we were going to go until we showed up and wanted to know why all the little girls were dressed up like princesses. :) She did not fully understand what was going on until we got to the suite and she looked out at the ice and the castle that was out there. She was so excited, she started jumping up and down and could not even eat her lunch. I told her she needed to hurry and eat before the princesses woke up from their nap but she was so afraid they would come out without her knowing she could not sit down. All three of the girls truely enjoyed the show and the toys auntie bought them :) Thank you AUNTIE

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Ok so we found out on Monday that our new little baby is going to be a girl. To be honest her Daddy was a little disappointed because he is soooo outnumbered, but...by the end of the night he was on the computer looking for names :) He came up with a little list of cute names that I am sure we will be able to agree on.
We also played a little joke on Auntie Ca. She is just soooo easy to trick and gets sooo mad that I couldn't pass up the chance :) We told her we were not going to find out what the gender of the baby was. She even tried to convince Ruben to to get the Ultrasound tech to write it down on a piece of paper for her and put it in an envelope. When the ultrasound was over and I told her we did not find out what the gender was, she was so mad. She called me EVIL!! :) And all I could do was laugh inside. I sent a text message out to all our friends that said "ITS A GIRL!!! My sister does not know what it is, so if you know her please keep it quiet" I planned on telling her the next day by getting her something really girly and having Jadyn bring it to her. My plan didnt work out like that so, I had Jadyn call her and say "ITS A GIRL" she didnt understand what she said at first so Jadyn had to say it again. Auntie was a little mad at first, but I think she was just so excited it was a girl that she really didnt care. (I wonder what she would have done if it was a boy?) I know how she feels though because I really wanted Emmie to be a girl and I was extremely excited to get the news, that she was a girl. Sorry Auntie I couldn't help myself. And just for the record Ruben had nothing to do with it, he didn't want to get in the middle :) (He is a smart man already, it didn't take long for him to learn)
Some of the name choices we have right now are......Bailee, Paislie, Preslie, Khloe, Sydnie. We havent talked a whole lot about it yet but those are some of the ones we both like. I really want to give her my middle name too, Brooke. Jadyn didn't get my middle name because I felt it was really cool that she was the 5th generation girl and it would be cool for her and her great great Granny to have the same middle name, Marie. I am happy with our decision, Jadyn really loves her great great Granny :)

This is the new baby girl's ultrasound!

And this is a picture of Jadyn's ultrasound when she was also 21 weeks. I think they look sooo much alike. What do you think?

Update

Ok so I haven't done this blog thing in a long time. It has been over a year and a lot has changed. My beautiful little girl is less then a month away from turning 3!! Wow, I know. She is sooo smart. I was looking back at old blogs when she was a little thing. And I was right about her being soooo smart. She is always saying something to amaze me. I love her with everything I am. Her Dad and I are no longer together. I think it was the best decision for everyone. We still have a really good friendship and that is the most important thing. She gets to see Mommy and Daddy get along and make the best decision for her.

We have a new man in our lives :) Preciado (as Jadyn calls him) Though he in NO WAY tries to take the place of her father, he is an awesome male figure in her life and I could not ask for more. Along with Ruben joining us he has brought an extra special little person with him. Wia (as Jadyn calls her). His daughter Olivia. Wia and Jadyn are only 4 months apart, though if you looked at them you would guess the age difference was a lot more. (Jadyn is a monster and Olivia is tiny) It took the girls a little while to get used to eachother, but they get a long good now (only fighting every once in a while, as sister will).

The girls are as opposite as they could be. Jadyn is a big girl and is very outgoing. She is friendly with everyone she comes into contact with (including the motorcycle riders next to our car on the road). Jadyn could meet someone and be instantly friends. Olivia on the other hand is more reserve. It takes her a while to warm up to you and she would rather play by herself then in a large group of kids. She is a big time Daddy's girl and is very soft spoken. Though both are very different they are unique in there own way.

Ruben and I are also expecting our first child together. The baby is due at the end of January 2010. We have our ultrasound today, 9/14/09, and are very excited to find out what we are having. We have not decided on a name for either a boy or a girl. We will decide when we know the gender. Well...that is all for now. I think I covered a little of the update. Enjoy a couple of pictures.
